Some guests say "isn't this in the hurricane season?" Yes it is. The peak period is 1st September to 30th September with 11th September as the actual pinnacle.

What everyone forgets is that this is a very pretty time of year. The island is very quiet with few tourists around. Rates are generally more reasonable. The sea is very clear and calm.

If a hurricane does loom on the horizon, we get about 4 days warning so the nervous have plenty of time to either go home or move to another Island.
But the REALLY GOOD NEWS is that Oualie offers our guests a hurricane guarantee. If your stay is cut or you can not come because of a hurricane, we guarantee you that we will honour your booking for a replacement booking any time in the following 12 months (provided of course that we have rooms available!)

So come down and enjoy, without having to worry about the weather!
